Yes, Your Payment Details Are Securely Processed
Yes. All payments are securely processed via Stripe. We never store or see your raw credit card details on our servers. Your complete card number and card security code are entered into the secure payment process rather than being sent to a teacher or stored as ordinary Chitran website data.
Stripe Handles the Sensitive Payment Process
Chitran International Online Art Classes, LLC uses Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing. During checkout, the sensitive card information is provided through the payment interface so Stripe and the relevant payment networks can process the transaction. Chitran does not need to collect a raw card number in an email, classroom message, registration note, or support chat.
Stripe may securely return limited billing information needed to identify and manage a customer account. This can include details such as the card brand, masked last four digits, expiration information, billing status, invoice records, payment result, and customer billing email. Masked information helps identify a payment method without exposing the complete number.
What Chitran Does Not Need
Your complete card number, card security code, bank password, PIN, or one-time bank authentication code should never be sent to a Chitran teacher or support representative.
What May Be Visible
Authorized billing records may show masked card information, payment status, amount, currency, invoice, subscription, and dates needed to support the account.
Does Chitran Store My Full Card Number?
No. Chitran does not store or see a customer's raw credit card details on its own servers. The school may use secure billing tools to view the limited payment record associated with an account, but that is different from receiving or storing the complete card credentials.
This separation is important. It allows Chitran support to help identify a subscription or invoice while keeping the most sensitive card data inside the specialized payment system.
Can Teachers or Support See My Card Security Code?
No. A teacher does not need financial credentials to teach a class, review artwork, or discuss a schedule. Support also does not need a card security code, PIN, password, or one-time code to locate an invoice. Do not share those secrets even if a message appears urgent.
A legitimate billing inquiry can normally be handled using the payer's name, billing email, invoice identifier, payment date, amount, and masked last four digits when required. These details identify the record without exposing the card.
Bank Authentication Adds Another Layer
Some payments require an additional check from the cardholder's bank. The bank may request an app approval, biometric confirmation, security question, or temporary one-time code. Complete that step only within the trusted bank or payment authentication screen.
Chitran cannot complete bank authentication for a customer and should never ask a parent to send the temporary code. If authentication fails or expires, return to the official checkout or billing portal and follow the secure process again.
How to Recognize the Official Payment Process
- Begin from the official Chitran website or an official billing portal link.
- Review the plan, amount, currency, renewal terms, and billing email before payment.
- Do not enter payment details into a form received from an unknown sender.
- Do not send photos of the front or back of a payment card.
- Do not share passwords, PINs, bank login details, or one-time codes.
- Save the receipt and invoice after a completed payment.
Protecting Your Billing Account
Use an email account that the responsible payer can access securely. Protect that email with a strong password and multi-factor authentication when available because billing portal access may be delivered by email. Do not forward a private portal access message to people who should not manage the subscription.
On a shared computer, sign out when finished and avoid saving financial details without the cardholder's permission. Keep the browser and operating system updated, and do not proceed through a security warning merely because a payment feels urgent.
What to Share During a Billing Inquiry
Safe identifying information usually includes the parent's name, billing email, student name, plan, invoice or receipt number, amount, currency, date, and a concise description of the issue. A cropped screenshot of an error can help when it does not reveal confidential financial details.
Before sending a screenshot, hide full account numbers, unrelated transactions, balances, home addresses not needed for the question, passwords, and authentication codes. Chitran needs enough information to find the billing record, not access to the customer's wider financial life.
Important Card Safety Rule
Never send your complete card number, card security code, banking password, PIN, or one-time verification code to Chitran by email, WhatsApp, classroom chat, support message, or screenshot. Enter sensitive payment information only through the official secure payment interface.
